For the past weeks, I had showcased 2 of the 5 amazing parrot tricks (the Cup Stacking Trick and the Basketball Trick) that Kacy learned so far. And now, here is the third one, the Ring Tossing Trick:

Ring Tossing Trick is derived from the Ring Tossing Game that we often play at carnivals. A simple game that is fun and well suited for people of all ages and now even parrots!

In my own opinion, the ring tossing trick is indeed a difficult and challenging trick for most parrots. With the training experience I had with Kiki and Kermit, I had seen them “struggle” to meet the objectives. The training progress is slow. I still clearly remember that I took close to month just to shape my lovebird, Kiki to perform the Ring Tossing Trick.

Surprisingly, Kacy learned this specific behavior within a short time frame of 2 days. That’s a big contrast with the lengthy training sessions I had with Kiki. I ought to praise my little Kacy for the wonderful effort. Well done! Kacy.
