Kacy, the Black Capped Conure is working out in the strawberry field as a farmer for a day. She spent the whole morning busily harvesting all the sweet strawberries.
I guess Kacy is probably the first ever farming parrot!
It is obvious that everything is fictitious. It is just another parrot trick of Kacy, a simple retrieval trick that I repackaged with a farm theme. This is the parrot trick that everyone has been waiting for!
Kacy and I hope the presentation of this parrot trick will bring lots of fun and laughter to everyone.
There is greater meaning to me that makes me a necessity to teach this parrot trick to Kacy and make this parrot trick video possible. It is all because of Kermit, my late Senegal Parrot.
Kermit had left us for almost one and a half years (at the date of this post). His departure had indeed brought lots of pain and sadness to the family.
And Perhaps, Kermit left with regrets for not being able to complete the full training of this parrot trick. With this, I felt I had the obligation to ensure Kacy complete what was left uncompleted by Kermit. I am glad that Kacy did it and made everything possible!
Finally, Kacy and I will like to dedicate this post and video to the memory of Kermit, the Senegal Parrot. We love you always!

Amazing! Where did you get the tree prop from?
Comment by Dan — 28 June, 2010 @ 11:22 am
I made the prop myself. I actually got all the materials from a local Daiso outlet!
