What makes Kacy so unique, neither because of her appearance, her special stints nor her unusual habits. It’s because she also has very unusual “exotic” taste buds!
Other than he usual favourites, sunflower, apples and pears, she craves for noodles and bee hoon (also known as rice vermicelli or rice noodles)! That’s definitely very unusual cravings for parrots, even Kermit and Kiki aren’t any die hard fans for noodles or rice vermicelli!

Among the 3 companion parrots I had, I personally feel that Kacy is absolutely unique and special. She seems to armed with extraordinary abilities that Kermit and Kiki never had. Strangely enough, Kacy knows the alphabet letter “I” and even knows how to write it out…

I’m Glad that I Have You, Kacy
Ever since the disappearance of Kiki and the sudden departure of Kermit, I thought I would never get another parrot and ever get to make another post on Bryan’s Angels. Seriously I thought Bryan’s Angels, the blog dedicated to my companion parrots would just left to rot and probably ended up shut off.
Kiki’s incident and the death of Kermit had left a deep scar in my heart. I was in dreadful pain and leading a goal-less miserable life. I wasn’t exaggerating how I feel, but Kiki and Kermit are in bigger place in my heart. I care for them and my love for them are boundless. I missed all the fun and companionship from them. I pondered when will I escape from misery.
Little that I knew a cute young fellow turned to be my saviour from my misery. The cute young fellow is whom i named Kacy. Kacy is a Black Capped Conure which I gotten from a friend who is a local breeder.

My friends ever questioned me, “Why getting a small parrot? Why not getting a bigger parrot like a Cockatoo or even Macaw?”
Many people with little knowledge on parrots tend to have this misconception that the Bigger the Better. Furthermore, when we talk about parrots, what most people can think of and relate with parrots are only large macaws and cockatoos.
In my opinion, size doesn’t affect the quality of companionship and affection from the parrot. Small parrots share the common traits and characteristics like their larger relatives.
